Welcome to the site for trophy fishing on Osenets dam.

In June 2024, Osenets Dam was enriched with new trophy carp. On three occasions, anglers from the group released 78 carp weighing between 10 and 21 kg. This event not only enriched the fish resource of the reservoir, but also provided anglers with exciting opportunities to catch impressive specimens. The initiative was enthusiastically and gratefully received by all participants and is expected to attract even more anglers.

Added new rules:
– Fishing with feeder and feeder method is prohibited
– The smallest hook size to be used shall be No. 2

Carp, catfish, white carp, white fish, tench, walleye, roach and walleye are bred in the reservoir.
Trophy carp are from 10kg to 32.33 kg
Over 30 kg. are about 14-15 fishes
from 10 to 30 kg. are probably more than 600 fishes

About us

Lake “Osenets” has an area of 66 acres and a depth of 6-7 meters.
Two rivers go into the lake – Sadinska and Selishka. Walking distance from the lake starts the flower reserve for wild cyclamen / butorche /

Carp, catfish, white carp, white fish, tench, walleye, roach and walleye are bred in the reservoir.
Trophy carp are from 10kg to 32.33 kg
Over 30 kg. are about 14-15 fishes
from 10 to 30 kg. are probably more than 600 fishes

The fish has been collected from all over Bulgaria for 28 years

Osenets Lake is located near the village of Osenets, 12 km from Razgrad in the direction to Ruse.
It is located in a valley. Two tributaries of the Beli Lom river flow through it – Sadinska and Selishka rivers.
